He holds a Master of Management degree from the University of the Philippines in the Visayas. He attended special courses in management of professional service firms in Harvard Business School and Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for International and Comparative Law of the Center for American and International Law based in Texas, U.S.A. He is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, International Bar Association, Inter-Pacific Bar Association and Immigration Lawyers Association of the Philippines. He was a bar examiner during the Philippine 2004 Bar Examinations.

Neil Cameron is one of the leading law firm technology consultants. In a review of IT consultants offering services to law firms in The Lawyer magazine he was “named by many consultants as one of the best around”, and held to be “recognised as among the leading experts”. In 2003 he was awarded a LOTIE by In BrieF magazine for the “biggest contribution to legal IT” in that year. Originally a barrister he moved into technology when he joined Butterworths to help set up the UK LEXIS service in 1980. Four years later he went to Allen & Overy to work on the development and implementation of professional support IT systems for lawyers, primarily know-how and document management. In 1986 he joined KPMG Management Consulting and was largely responsible for building the KPMG Solicitors Consulting Unit over a period of time during which he and his team assisted over forty law firms and legal departments with technology projects. These ranged from IT strategy and related high-level work, the review of technology- related working practices to establishing requirements and evaluating and selecting systems such as document management, office systems; practice management, CRM, Intranet/Extranet and client collaboration as well as know-how and library systems. He has also been retained by a number of vendors to advise on product development and design, particularly practice management systems.

Based in Hong Kong, Jeff oversees the IT management and operations across Herbert Smith offices in Asia, including Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and Bangkok, and also an associated office in Jakarta. Jeff and his team are responsible for implementing and managing quality technology solutions for all Asia offices in a wide range of fields including computer systems, business application systems, software and hardware applications, server and networking infrastructure, security, risk management and business continuity. Of Swedish origin, Herman Lundquist is now based in Singapore as Senior Marketing Manager with the Regional Office of Canon Singapore’s Business Imaging Solutions. One of his core responsibilities is to oversee the business development of Canon’s hardware, software and professional services across the South and South East Asia region. Lundquist joined Canon in 1995. Prior to his present appointment, Herman was the Solutions Marketing Manager at Canon Svenska AB. During his tenure at Canon Svenska AB, Herman also held various management positions in regional sales management and sales consulting. Herman was responsible for improving the external communications of the sales team in the European market. During recent years, he developed several uniform sales and marketing tools to support Canon’s transition from being a hardware provider to a solutions provider. These tools are now widely used by the Canon business solutions sales team in the European market. The sales team is able to more effectively demonstrate and communicate the customer benefits of working with Canon’s solutions in the office environment with the deployment of such tools. Besides working for Canon, Mr. Lundquist has held several senior positions in the Motion Media Production Industry. He was also once a broadcast journalist and co-host for a prominent television station.

Chiap Seng has over 15 years’ experience in Legal work, having practiced as a litigation lawyer for about 7 years prior to assuming various in-house legaL positions in several companies, including a local listed company a foreign-owned multi- national corporation prior to assuming his current position as the head of legal department and regional counsel for Canon Singapore. Chiap Seng has worked on a broad range of contractual and intellectual property issues in a variety of industries, including shipping, industrial construction, logistics and business and consumer electronics across several jurisdictions in Asia. Chiap Seng holds a LLB (Hons) from the National University of Singapore. He is a member of the bar of the Supreme Court of Singapore and a committee and founding member of the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association
